At 12 years old, I was bitten by the acting bug. Cast in a production of Oliver!, my journey in the performing arts would prove to be a life-long love affair.

While attending high school in the mid 80s, the world became aware of the famine in Africa and music artists answered the call with fundraising efforts like Band Aid and USA for Africa. Determined to do my part, I organized my high school fundraiser, NFA for Africa, with all of the incredible talent we had to offer. The following year, with focus on hunger and homelessness in the United States, I organized a second benefit; NFA for USA.

Local theater fed a desire to perform throughout the years. I’ve worked with fellow theatre lovers in every aspect of production from season planning to stage managing, lighting & sound, assisting, directing, performing and, web, social media and graphic design work.

My theatrical partnerships would become instrumental in supporting the next chapter in my artistic growth; sourcing vocal talent from professional actors for the shows I developed for Up In Arms and creative and technical advice in helping me navigate solutions for those productions.
